Tips
-
You must plan a time period, when nobody and nothing can
distract you
- Put
any valuables out of your arms' range, in order to avoid
a possible destruction when you've just failed your record
because of the (bad) luck. An accident comes so quickly,
particularly for the most nervous…
- Provide
yourself with a Mouse, with a grand 'M'. A great Mouse.
Especially not a Microsoft IntelliEye1 st generation, which
is an anti-record mouse (I've alas done this mistake, also
repaired…) All branded mouse, and also Microsoft IntelliEye
2nd generation are good for minesweeper. For more information,

- Put
free your mouse's wire, to let it free space. Nothing is
more infuriating than missing a record because of the wire…
Maybe the solution is a wireless mouse.
- For
the people who have a mouse with a ball, you must have cleaned
the ball.

In the control panel, select the mouse sensitivity, an put
it down, near the minimum
- BEFORE
having the idea to play, you must immediately unselect the
mark option (?) in the 'Game' menu : this option is completely
useless, except in loosing time
- Install
yourself comfortably, with one of your left hand's finger
(the index) on the F2 key (for new games), and the other
hand on the mouse
